Can Pancake is a popular type of little pancake in the provinces of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan. Can Pancake is rice flour “baked” pancake. How to make it?

– Rice soak for approximately 6 hours then taking out and mix to a little cooled rice before grind it together so carefully.

– Preparation:The oven and cake mold is very typical of the Cham people (this is the Bau Truc pottery products – a typical pottery of Cham people), the special clay from this oven will make the cake become more fragrant and delicious

– The oven have to heat up enough before putting the oven mold on. Then rub into each mold one layer of fat. Cover the mold and wait for the oven mold become really hot then pour the powder in. Then the next step is putting the beaten eggs or fresh squid, beef,…into each mold and cap the site again. Then wait until smelling of scorching powder, it means it is cooked. Use a metal pry pry the cake, then put a little fat into the cake and its ready.
